A few things before you begin.
Creating your Private Health Passport only takes a few minutes. Here is what to expect before you jump in.

What it is
A private, structured record of your medical history, medications, allergies, and documents, kept on your device, not on our servers.

What you will need
About ten minutes, and whatever you already have on hand: a list of medications, past results, or documents. You can add more later.

How private it is
It is encrypted with a password only you know. We built it so that we cannot see your data, even if we wanted to.

How it works
Your first day, step by step.
Everything below happens on your phone. Nothing about your health is sent to us.

Get the app
From Google Play or the App Store, or open private.zkomi.com in your phone's browser. No account, no email address.

Choose your password
It locks everything on your phone. We never see it, so we cannot reset it. Write it down somewhere safe, or keep it in a password manager.

Fill in your Medical ID first
Blood type, allergies, conditions, medications and who to call. Someone helping you can open it from the lock screen without your password, so add only what you are happy for a helper to see.

Add your records
Medications, history, your doctors, appointments. Scan a paper document with your camera: the text is read on your phone and nothing is uploaded.

Save a copy off your phone
Settings, then Data, then Save encrypted backup. Keep the file on a computer, USB stick or memory card. Without your password the file cannot be read. The app reminds you if it has been a while.

Share only what is needed
Show a doctor (the button in the middle) makes a link or QR code with just the parts you choose, for 24 hours. Send it only to people you trust: whoever has the link can read what is in it.

When you travel
Compass keeps your dose times in step with your body clock across time zones, and shows what your medicines are called where you are going.

New or lost phone
Install the app, tap “New phone? Restore from a backup”, choose your file and enter your password. Everything comes back as it was.
Setup is free. We built it to help you first.
There is no charge to set up your passport. If you later want a person to help you compare care abroad and make introductions, that is a separate, optional service.
